Terms of service

TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated 19 August 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using any software or license sold through this
store (the "Software"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and
agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Continued use of the
Software constitutes your full acceptance of these Terms.

2. The Software

The Software runs as a separate application on your own computer. It does not
reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any third-party software or hardware,
and does not read, alter, or replace any file belonging to another program.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited,
non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for your
own personal, non-commercial use for the period covered by the key you
purchased.

Your license is subject to the terms presented in and accepted through the
Software before use. Any use outside those terms is unlicensed.

Personal license: Your license is issued to you alone. You may install it on
the machines required for a single setup operated by you. You may not share,
rent, resell, sublicense, or transfer your license key, nor allow any other
person to use it.

Confidentiality: You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential.
Use of the Software through your key is treated as use by you.

No reverse engineering: You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile,
disassemble, or decrypt the Software, or circumvent its licensing or
authentication systems, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits
despite this restriction.

4. Your Responsibilities

4.1 Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use
of the Software complies with all applicable laws and regulations, and with the
terms of service, license agreements, and rules of any third-party platform you
use it alongside. You must check those rules before use, and you warrant that
you will comply with this section 4.

4.2 Intended use. The Software is licensed for personal, non-commercial use.
It is intended for:

  - personal use in a private or offline setting;
  - research and education in computer vision and machine learning; and
  - development and testing of your own software.

4.3 Prohibited use. You must not use the Software:

  - in breach of any applicable law, or of any third party's terms of service,
    license agreement, or rules; or
  - to circumvent, disable, bypass, or interfere with any technological
protection measure, licensing check, digital rights management, or security
feature of any third-party software or service.

We do not authorise, encourage, endorse, or support any such use. It falls
outside the license granted in section 3 and is unlicensed.

4.4 Third-party platforms. Operators of applications, platforms, and services
set their own rules and decide independently how to act on them, entirely
outside our control. Where you choose to use the Software alongside such a
service, you do so at your own discretion and accept the outcome, including any
suspension, restriction, or termination of an account, loss of access to content
associated with it, or any claim made against you. We are not liable for any
action a third party takes in relation to your accounts, however that action
arises.

4.5 Indemnification. You will indemnify us against any claim, damage,
liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third
party, including any platform operator or rights holder, arising from your use
of the Software or your breach of these Terms. We will
notify you promptly of any such claim and may require you to assume its defence
at your own cost. You may not settle any claim in a way that admits fault on our
part or imposes any obligation on us without our prior written consent.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any
kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Use is entirely at your
own risk. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or
compatible with any particular system, driver, or third-party software.

Consequential loss: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive
damages, nor for loss of profit, data, goodwill, reputation, or purchased
digital content.

Cap: Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these
Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve months
preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Time limit: Any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms must be
brought within twelve months of the date on which you became aware, or ought
reasonably to have become aware, of the circumstances giving rise to it. After
that period the claim is barred.

Basis of the bargain: The limitations in this section reflect the price paid for
the license and the allocation of risk between us, and you accept that they are
reasonable.

Carve-outs: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or
personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent
misrepresentation, for intentional or grossly negligent acts, or for any other
liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer,
these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.

6. Refunds

No refunds after delivery. A license key is usable the moment you receive it, so
we do not refund a key once it has been delivered or viewed.

Consumer withdrawal right. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a
14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By completing your
purchase you ask us to deliver immediately and accept that doing so ends that
right. Your other statutory rights are unaffected.

What we do not refund. We do not refund for a change of mind, an accidental
purchase, a ban or restriction applied by a third party after delivery, a fall
in the value of digital content, or hardware that does not meet the stated
requirements.

Exceptions. If a key is invalid or defective on delivery and our support team
cannot resolve it, we will replace or refund it.

7. Updates and Availability

We work to keep the Software updated but do not guarantee continuous
availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Software, in whole or
in part, at any time. Where we discontinue a product entirely we will give
reasonable notice by email where we hold your address.

8. Suspension and Termination

Your license runs for the period you paid for, and in the ordinary course
nothing in this section will affect you.

We reserve the right to suspend or end a license, without refund, where it is
used in breach of these Terms, where a payment is reversed or charged back, or
where our systems, support, or licensing are being misused. Where we need to
look into a suspected breach we may pause the license while we do so, and we
will lift the pause once the concern is resolved.

You are free to stop using the Software whenever you like. Because licenses are
sold for a fixed period rather than as a recurring subscription, stopping early
does not create a refund for the remaining time, except as set out in section 6
or where the law requires it.

Survival. The restrictions in section 3, and sections 4, 5, 8, 10 and 11,
continue to apply after a license ends.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always
published on this page with the date it took effect. Where a change is material
we will give notice by email where we hold your address. Continuing to use the
Software after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not
accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the Software.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them,
their subject matter, or their formation, including any non-contractual dispute
or claim, are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Romania.
The conflict of law rules of Romania and the United Nations Convention on
Contracts for the International Sale of Goods do not apply. The courts of
Romania have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except
where mandatory consumer protection law of your country of habitual residence
provides otherwise.

Before bringing a claim. If you have a dispute, contact us first at the addresses
in section 12 and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Most issues
are settled this way.

11. General

Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is severed
and the remainder stays in full force.

Entire agreement: These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us
regarding the Software and supersede any prior understanding or representation.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may
assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Waiver: A failure or delay in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of it, and
does not prevent later enforcement.

Force majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused
by events beyond our reasonable control.

Third parties: No person other than you and us has any right to enforce these
Terms.

Notices: We may contact you at the email address associated with your purchase.
You may contact us at the addresses in section 12.
